Nuvi 1300 Help

Hi all. Not new to the site but I am having trouble. I have a Nuvi 1300 without lifetime updates and just recently bought a 8 gb sd card to get the latest maps. I have the lastest image but I cant get the device to see the map. it is unlocked. How do I do this. Every time I try to do a search I keep getting "You are using common words" message. Please point me in the right direction.

Been a week and still no help. What happened to everyone.

Maybe the problem is that you are using an unlocked map, maybe using an "unofficial" keygen. The problem, in my opinion, is that you shoud be using a locked map.
You could try unlocking the map by using the "JetMouse Garmin K...gen checksum fix" (gmapsupp.unl)

Thanks for the advice. I downloaded another unlocked map from here and now my gps see's both maps. I uncheck the older map and now it only uses the newer map.
