Welcome to the forum, you will have to tell us a little more
What area maps did you update, how did you update via Garmin Express or download from here did you use an SD card and what folder and file structure ?

Hi, I understand that Garmin is no longer developing JCVs for the Nuvi 50, right?

Yes this is my experience, devices that use Raster Junction View Pictures size:212*234 & 353*390
