How do I update Nuvi 775T?

Postby fenerli » Sat Oct 30, 2010 7:25 pm

Hi...
I have a Garmin Nuvi 775T with the following:

CN North America NT 3D 2010.20
CN Europe NT 3D 2010.20

My Nuvi software version is 3.60

Can I upgrade the software as well?

If it works fine, there is no any good reason why you update it......

anyway here is latest [Please Register or Login to download file]
Install webupdater and update your firmware if you want, latest software version is 4.00

City Navigator North America NT 2011.20
City Navigator Europe NT 2011.20

Download unlocked maps and replace old ones, make backup first your device files....

If you go the SD route it's very simple. You need only 2 files in the proper locations/folders and your done. A card set up like this will work.

sd:\garmin\gmapsupp.img <--- gmapsupp.img is an UNLOCKED IMG file (your complete map)
sd:\garmin\JCV\DxxxxxA.JCV <---- the junction view photo file. The name matters as it is specific to the map you are trying to use.

You can also set the card up this way
sd:\Map\gmapsupp.img <--- gmapsupp.img is an UNLOCKED IMG file (Map folder name is case sensitive)
sd:\garmin\JCV\DxxxxxA.JCV <---- the junction view photo file. The name matters as it is specific to the map you are trying to use.
