What happens when you run "Garmin.exe" in the rungmxt folder?

I don't know if it matters or not but in my post #46, you'll see that my SW is called SW.UNL as is my map unlock.

Edit

Yeah hopefully I don't think is gonna matter, the file name was like yours. But then I just wanted to double check if the keygen was in there and I opened it with notepad so the icon changed. You think this will be a problem?

You opened WHAT? with Notepad? The entire download was a .rar file so you should have used Winrar. JM Keygen was in the download. 99.9999% of the downloads here use Winrar so put that on your computer.

You are downloading the map, as there is only a locked version available you need to unlock it before it will work, there are instructions available.

Download map
Run unlock tool
Copy map to device

Garmin so fat seems to have the best map for West Africa. I will be very glad if i can get the iGO map for 2010

I just joined the forum and I noticed you seem incredibly knowledgeable about everything. I have an old Blaupunkt travel pilot lucca 3.5 gps installed in my MINI ([Please Register or Login to download file] ) it looks so beautiful I dont want to get rid of it, but I can't update it. I have spent days googling it and it seems there are a lot of people out there with the same problem. So my question is: can I take the software of my other gps with free lifetime updates (garmin nuvi 40 v.2.70) and upload it to my travel pilot? I believe the travel pilot is wince but not which version. If yes, how do I do it? If not, what other solutions are there? Right now I don't have any Northamerican maps on there so I can't use it at all.
If there is a solution can you please kindly post it as if you were writing "navigation for dummies" as I have not attempted modifying anything before!! Thanking you in advance.

Go here http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?9284-How-to-create-a-SW.UNL-for-WinCE5-XT Using Winrar, extract the Garmin folder to your SD card. Then add maps [.img] to the SD card. Name them gmapsupp.img and create an unlock for them.

EDIT: My SD card has changed somewhat since I did the attachment but not so much that you can't see the guide of it.
