how to install unlocked maps on PC for basecamp

Hi,
Next to the Wonderfull .img unlocked maps to use for the garmin here, I wonder where I could find the similar maps for basecamp without needing to connect the Garmin to the computer.
Any trick or tip for that?
Next to the free maps I mean - example West Europe Topo Pro

Welcome to the forum, please start using the "Thumbs Up" button then we can see what map you have downloaded.
On the day you joined there was a download of TOPO Benelux PRO v.2 if this was you, there are options to see/use this map with BaseCamp without your Garmin device.
You can create a folder called Garmin & copy the .img file to it on an SD card ,thumb drive or virtual drive.

You can also use Gmaptool and GpsMapper to create map for Basecamp or Mapsource from a .img file.

Thanks! I'll use the Tumbs up and the tip of putting the img-files on a external drive (is a logical thought since the maps on the Gramin were also on a SD)
