Your device does NOT require patching to use Unlocked maps and uses NT maps only
For Europe use new-maps/city-navigator-europe-2020-fid-8231-t21499.html

Hy,
lol map is running. i have download the 3d.img and change name in "gmapsupp" save on sd card
in Folder /Garmin/gmapsupp.img

In Menu i can see the map and select.

But my gps signal didnt find
only 2 small red bars are displayed and no position found. Does anyone have experience of receiving.
The device has an SMA connection for an external antenna.

And how can I disable the mass storage mode.
In car i want to charge with usb cable and should not switch.

Thanks a lot

Your device does NOT use the 3D.img(3D Buildings) file, you only need the gmapsupp(8231).rar, this is the Map
Two red bars means very weak signal, leave your device for longer with a clear view of sky.

Your device is going into PC mode because USB cables and cheap replacement power cables are not wired the same as genuine Garmin vehicle cables.Try switching it off & on again after you plugged it in.

Okay
i try, thanks for information.

I found one way for mass storage mode, it function for one time.
The next power on, on USB start again in mass storage.

This is the way :
1) Disconnecting the nuvi from the charging cable.
2) Press and hold the battery meter icon for 8 seconds. This puts the nuvi into "system test" mode.
3) Plug in the power cable.
4) Click "Exit." The nuvi should now reboot, but remain in GPS mode!
