Hi all. I am a newbie here so please forgive me if this question has been asked before, I did do a search and nothing really found.

I am looking for BlueChart software for my PC.

I found this BlueChart G2 Vision VEU706L - UK & Ireland v11.5 but i guess it is for SD Card or something.

This is exactly what i am looking for but to run on my PC. Can anyone help please.

There are no longer MapSource versions of BlueChart maps (G2, G2Vision), but you can use Garmin HomePort to show this Maps for trip planning on PC.

I presume i put the image i have downloaded onto an sd card?

I seem to be having problems. I downloaded the rar files 1-6 for BlueChart G2 Vision VEU706L - UK & Ireland v11.5 from this forum which gave me an img file (gmapsupp.img) in a folder called DCVEU706L.

After running Garmin Homeport i select import. I direct it to the SDCard but it can't see anything. I have tried extracting the img file but always get an error message. So i am at a loss.

Any further help please?

put the .img file in a folder "Garmin" on the root of the device

then is should be detected
