Garmin 1390T

Garmin 1390T

Postby pedjdja » Wed Sep 15, 2010 10:49 am

I recently bought the above mentioned device with full Europe maps.

Few days a go I manage to update the maps through Garmin webiste.

I noticed that I don't have a map for Serbia & Montenegro (main roads only), is it possible that is added somehow?

Already found a SCG Route 2.30 NT (the latest map from garmin Serbia) but how do I install it on my garmin device? Do you need to unlocker as well?

Thanks

thanks again.

one more thing, you said oz put it in SD card/map folder....

when I connect my Garmin device, I cannot see any map folder :(

I can only see the following folders:
Garmin
GPX
Help
JPEG
Keyboards
Poi
text
vehicle
voice

none of them has 'maps' inside...

thanks again

Hidden folder or Just create it

1. Directories are hidden, so you should unhide them in windows (or use any filemanager with hidden files enabled)
2. in the .system directory will be the map.
3. also 'maps' directory stores maps.
4. on garmin directory will be garmindevice.xml with the paths descriptions.

I think that nuvi come without sd-card, if you are not put it youself then you must buy new card for it

you can see here specs for device

Accepts data cards: microSD card (not included)

The Garmin 1390T comes with a MICRO SD Card Slot. On the Left hand side of the GPS (screen facing you).
