Try this, uncheck options for hidden files and system hidden files on this way

- open my documents, and go to menu TOOLS,on tools press on button FOLDER OPTIONS
- on the Folders Options screen, click on the View tab
- under Advanced Settings select "show hidden files, folders and drives" under the Hidden Files and Folders section
- under Advanced Settings delete the tick mark beside "Hide Protecting Operating System Files(Recommended)" and answer Yes you want to do that when the warning box appears.
- click Apply and then OK to save your changes and close the View Options box

after this connect your 1390t and you'll be able to see folder system on your device \.system , check there what mapset are there and post here, if there is just GMAPPROM.IMG , then you can add more img files, lile your .img file in format GMAPSUPP.IMG

Probably you'll have free space on your internal memory, cause it's about 4GB i think, and you can add AdriaRoute 3.11 which is about 145 MB

system folder looks like this on internal memory

p.s.
don't forget to make backup of img files from hidden system folder! You may not see the .img extension when you look at the files on the Nuvi. If that's the case, while your in the View Options detailed above, delete the tick mark beside "Hide Extensions Beside Known File Types"

For copying maps to sd card, try this, install Garmin AdriaRoute 3.11, which you can find here, and over Map Source send it to your sd card, it will automatically creates Map folder on root of your sd card, and there will transfer .img file of AdriaRoute 3.11.
I'm all what I'm not!

problem solved!!!

created folder Garmin on SD card and rename the file to 'gmapsupp.img'

the reason why it didn't work for the first time (when pietu advised) is because besides that, it is necessary to un-select my main map (Tools > Settings > Map > Map Info) and select only SCG.

as i said at he beginning, I had SCG man roads only in my main map but nothing more (when searching for the i.e. streets in Belgrade, device was showing me results from my main map only - no streets)

now when in Serbia, I un-select my main map and select SCG only and everything is working properly!!!!

thank you all for your efforts!!
