The only way to have a working TT on my Samsung S3 with rom Cyano and Kitkat 4.4.2 is with the folder tomtom in the root of the internal memory (sdcard or sdcard0) and start the installation of the TomTom apk without the external memory card (extsdcard or sdcard1).
After the installation and the first run of tomtom app, you can insert your external memory card in the phone and all will be ok.
