CE6 Mediaplayer

CE6 Mediaplayer

Postby marc2040 » Mon Dec 06, 2010 8:08 pm

I´m looking for a Mediaplayer running on CE6.

Now I`m using the ugly TCPMP 0.82.

Any idea where I can get a 480x272?

Thank you

Try this, It's what TCPMP evolved into...

Thank you Fatboyfun,

but it wont work.

The wm65 CorePlayer starts, but reports the same Problem as CorePlayer 1.3.6:

Unexpected Program Failure

The problem is, my PND does not support crash.text

I think its just a missing dll.

Cheers

Hello Fatboyfun,

the problem is, my device cant produce a crash.txt file.
So I did a PEInfo file for media player and nitrogen as attached.

Media Player

Nitrogen

CorePlayer doesnt give a PEInfo file :-(

With MediaPlayer and Nitrogen its the same problem

If these files do not have enough information about the problem I have please let me know.

Thank you

TCPMP has problems with some devices, (It is officially Beta software) I'm not sure about Nitrogen's compatibility, The attached PEInfo file for Nitrogen indicates that AYGSHELL.dll is missing, So i've attached it in a rar file below, Place it in the same directory as the exe and try again, Is there any 480x272 skins for Nitrogen? If not i've made 480x640/800 skins i could adapt.

2080

EDIT: There are 480x272 skins available.

According to the official XDA thread a few people are having problems with WinCE6, i'll research around a bit, What are you trying to play, Music and/or video?

There are several media players included with MioPocket 4.0, Including Windows Media Player, The readme states compatibility with WinCE 6, You can extract the programmes and any dll's required from the zip archive rather than install everything.

I think it depends on thc coredll.dl,l but there is no chance to get it.
DiskRW doesnt work on a CE6 devices.

Before I got a Navigon 8310 CE5 machine, wich accepted all player apps.

Here's a coredll.dll from WinCE5, You'll probably need to overwrite the one in the Windows directory.
