We are working on it. We contacted our ads provider (without ads, no server, no forum).
The thread will be updated when we get their reply

Also had false virus pop up around 10 mins ago, minimizes ie page to small box behind the warning, said eset had determined I had virus, click to continue, I did and it ran the false animation scan, then said do you want to fix, said yes, and then wants to download program.

NOTE I was running all this in a sandbox, as I normally do on this site as it has done this in the past.! So my computer has not been compromised. Suggest others get a sandbox, I use sandboxie.

OK,

Recently I've noticed when starting the website, i get a popup asking if I want to 'open a program from this website'. Its from various people/sources to open or cancel. Which rightly or wrongly I click on 'X' to close. ??????????/

Being plagued with Pop ups when opening Navitotal

Postby naviboy » Sat Mar 26, 2011 7:21 pm

When ever I open Navitotal, I get plagued with a popup or two asking if I want to download a program from such as vaxia.com and others. They all say they are to with Microsoft etc.

I just close them down, then another pops up with the same format but from another person.

And sometimes I get a Trojan warning without doing anything only just reading variuos posts.

It seems the site is being infected etc.

As our admin says (some posts up) : there are NO pop-ups on this forum, only ads.

Read again my previous answer to you: http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?4814-This-forum-has-ads-that-attempt-to-install-malware.&p=34568#post34568

Pardon my butting-in but here's my two cents. There are many people here on the Internet [NOT this site mind you] whose ONLY purpose in life is to separate you from your money. It is my suggestion that you never click-on any of the pop-ups because they are only spam. Unfortunately, this forum has to be paid for somehow.:naughty:

Please take care when you get this popup that ONLY NaviTotal is open in your browser...
Let me know if you get again this problem, make a screenshot with the ads, time, url.
Thanks.
