How do I identify the details of my car's GPS unit?

Postby WanderingLoner » Thu Feb 27, 2014 11:44 am

Hello everyone,
I would like to start by thanking the site admins and the uploaders. You guys are doing a great job and helping out a lot of people. Keep it up.

Second, I need some help as I am completely clueless when it comes to cars and car related stuff. I have a Toyota RAV4 and I had a multimedia/GPS unit installed in my car by a car accessory shop. Its the type that goes in the dashboard and occupies 2 slots (I am assuming this is a 2Din unit). It has no name or branding on it. Its main menu has the basic functions such as radio, SD card, GPS etc. It has 2 mmc slots, 1 for GPS and the other for multimedia. It runs iGO Primo 9.x.x. I think It runs WinCE as well.

I need to know what is the resolution of this device and what version of WinCE does it run. Is there any way to find this out? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

If I can get to a pc later I'll upload my little script that finds out the device details...
