You may want to disable firefox's pre-loading option where it caches all the links on a page in the background so you can navigate around the site faster.

I just came to this page again using the auto login, but still got redirected to quite a few sites. Replace hxxp with http

hxxp://boo1.70498.information-seeking.c ... 3LvoDc0RHa

hxxp://clixrevenue.cama.information-see ... 3LvoDc0RHa

hxxp://clixrevenue.cama.information-see ... 3LvoDc0RHa

hxxp://cityfocus.chinaontv.com/videos/7115?part=1

This does not happen to me. What browser are you using?

Tue Nov 02, 2010 1:31 pm

I also have been getting the re-direction problems for a while, pressing the back button on the browser doesn't work either, unless it is pressed 3 times in succession.

Clicking on a link or just general broswing without clicking on anything re-directs at random to other web pages.

I too am using firefox, and its up-to-date.

NB. I got the re-direction problem not very long ago just before coming across this thread.

I too have been having the re-direction problem. Firefox, up-to-date. Problem seemed to occur after using CCleaner, when auto login stopped happening and 'manually' logging in using 'remembered' ID & PW. This access to the forum triggered an immediate Login session (displaying ID & PW) and there have been no re-directs.

FYI - I am a fairly frequent user of the site and had not experienced the China TV redirection uintil a few minutes ago. I read comments last night that it (perhaps) was only happening to users NOT logged-in as members. This is not so, I was logged-in and trying to read a post when it occurred. No click, no link... just transported off to China TV and the back arrow did not work. Browser is Firefox version 3.6.12 (fully updated).

As a now-retired scientist I have always advised people to " be aware of over-hasty conclusions".......
But although I got the link earlier today, the link has not popped up during the current session.. let's hope it's fixed.
Perhaps it makes sense only for anyone still experiencing the problem to report, which I shall, if it shows on any future visit.

Regards and thanks to all for help and support J

Spoke too soon have been redirected to:

[Please Register or Login to download file]

and I was able to get out of this by pressing the BACK button.

Problem, though a slightly different one, persists

Regards etc. J
