Hello guys,

I'm new to this forum and to updating navigation firmwares, so sorry for any dumb question. :)

Today I tried to update my BMW 530D 2001 MK III to v.32, inserted the disc, a message appeared in the display saying "CD in .... Loading software.." The display went black, update progress didn't even start and I had to eject the disc because it was stucked at that screen.

Now everything seems to work fine except the navigation. When I insert any kind of disc in the navigation unit id won't read the CDs (maps CD, software CD), also the Navigation tab is missing from the menu and the red light is not flashing on the unit.

Any help and further instructions will be highly appreciated.

I've fixed this inserting v17 CD burned in mode 2, turned the key to position 1, then to 0 and then again to 1 and update started.
