New maps don't delete any mp3 files, just the old maps version...

sorry, but to be 100% sure...I've burnt the file to disc and it says it's 7672 (V8) - will this still be o.k with a unit B on 2680 firmware or do I need to download 7690 ?

Your firmware/unit it's OK even for newer maps (7692, 7693)...

after deleting the EDB folder and burned the ISO to DVD,
i insert the DVD to the RNS510 keep saying DVD Error!
can someone please advise?
is it possible to upload the map using SD card?

Use ultraiso or similar to edit the ISO file and than save it again in ISO format, try to burn it again, AFAIK you can not just copy and paste to SD

i managed to have the map working i am only missing the speed cams and the poi,
can i add those manualy from SD card?

I have tried to follow the instructions on this but every time I get a DVD error similar to Cyberbot above.

Would anyone be kind enough to forward me a DVD that has already worked for them. I would be happy to send you some cash to cover your time/postage etc.

Hello, installation of the 7690 is perfect, maps are ok. But for example, when I start a navigation, I go to the selection of the country, and all the countries are written in another language ( Francya, Belgya, etc ...) and not in english, french or other. What did I wrong ?

i have a golf V with rns510... i burned the dvd and putted in rns....
it asked me if i wont to save it or temporary, i clicked save ... the dvd was doing something ... no process line or percentage of the work... and about after 1 hour i eject the DVD. Is this normal?? (i have a audi a6 with mmi 3g and when you insert dvd you get percentage of the upload but in golf nothing)
Is the new map on a hard drive??? how can i check?? i tried holding the setup button for the secret menu but i get only FM, AM radi and DAB??

To see if it is on the HDD, you can run Navigation or Maps without the DVD. If it works, it is on the HDD.

For my problem, does anyone have an answer ?

i had the map already installed on my HDD so i dont know if the new one is uploaded or it is the old one still in use.

Solved ! I had to be in firmware version 3810 or higher ...

Hy. I would like ask, what means, that "supported language"?
Will speaking in this language? Will only the menu in this language?
