doesn't work, i have the RN-S2 in my car (VW Touareg 2004) doesnt take the firmware CD, doesnt take crack doesnt take the MAP DL DVD... am i doing something wrong?

RNS2 does not need the update CD, you just have to use the unlock one and then the map DVD. If use unlock CD and dont se nothing in the screen you have to do another one, maybe with another writer, same for map DVD

thank you for your reply! the unlock CD did not work, and map also does not yet... :( i am gonna try again if it works, burn with another PC... if not i'll get back to this topic haha :) thanks again!

Hi there

Think I need some advice since I am a newbie...
Which disc do I need for the firmware upgrade? CD, DVD or ?
Which disc do I need for unlock? CD, DVD or?
I guess I need a dual layer for the map since it is 7GB or so, but which type is best?

I am asking because my Skoda Octavia with MDS2 will not read the firmware CD/DVD+R (tried both).

Please help so I can get new maps for the vacation :o)

I have read that best results were obtained with LG writers, Verbatim DL+R (also -R) and IMGBURN (lowest speed 1x)
For those who got a working copy ¿what did you use?

I know this is quite old ... but when press the link to dvd2-eur_2011.rar I have only a 4,71Ko file ... doesn't look like the dvd
SORRY ... first time i run into a dlc file ....
