Still no joy. Thanks again and sorry to have bored the pants off other users on this forum, will soldier on and will continue to use in portrait mode.

Weird or what!! The problem is now solved, I have found that selecting the app in landscape mode then the resolution is fine and cut off in portrait mode. The opposite happens if I select the app in portrait mode. Whatever the reason, I'm now a happy bunny. Thanks again to Downunder35m for your patience and help.

You're welcome, although I still can't figure out what causes it on your device.
Mine changes between modes with no cut off's.
Have to admit using a modded firmware for the SD support but Primo was working fine on the stock 4.2.2 before that.
Guess I was just lucky ;)
