Question on android Gps apps in general...

Fri Apr 05, 2013 9:39 pm

hi guys, just recently got an android phone, the RAZR HD, pretty cool phone,
but of course, now i want a GPS app and i feel a bit rusted since i've been away
from GPS's for quite a while,,,,

basically, i saw that there's iGO PRIMO for android but my resolution on the phone is 720x1184,
not sure where to get the correct version for my device....

there's TOMTOM too on Android now, is it good?

and what about Sygic? any better or same as TomTom??

what do u guys use on a daily basis? thx

On my (rooted) galaxy s2 I use google maps for a quick look up, and either tomtom or primo for navigation, I did use sygic for a while though.

Tomtom cannot use speedcams as it's an in-app purchase, which won't work unless you actually bought the app.

I would recommend primo.

primo looks hard to install, and specially for my device resolution,,,

im having issues gathering the correct infos for it and how to proceed...

do u have a good easy walkthrough?
