Android maps

PLEASE tell me one thing.

Other maps for PDA/PNA are usable for ANDROID? or they are different FORMAT FILE MAPS.

THANKS FOR THIS USEFUL INFO FOR ME AND OTHERS.

At this moment in time, no they can't be used.

I was more happy if I could use the other maps that I have on my TOMTOM 720 or on my Windows Mobile Phone. But ok I will try to find map of Italy. I see some filefactory links but always forward me to other links and after nothing...

Is any other possibilities to find just only Italy Android Map?

I saw also that TomTom program software v. 1.0 doesn't work for my Samsung Galaxy SIII, wants to connect to TomTom servers and although I have data connections, It says: Couldn't do...

are different software of different maps? I see different software download links.. .europe...america... for apk to installation?

That should get you the maps and files, then all you need is a modified apk which are posted around the forum.

so as I understood Maps are on big....

and I need a different apk file just for Italy or Europe or other region.

Apk are not the same so.

Thanks. I will try to download apk for Italy but I cannot due of filefactory... that always forward me and otherwise I put capcha ... the same.

The link I provided was a torrent, you can pick and choose what to download from within your torrent client.

Apk are not the same so.

For modified APKs (only) for devices with different SD Card paths, see here post number 45:
TomTom Android--Torrent page5

Italy APK is included.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.
