Android TT GO 1.17 App - POI's not visible on route

Have been searching Navitotal & www for approx 2 hours. Thought I would ask you guys "Can I display personal POI's on a planned route". Have just installed TT GO 1.17 (thanks to pmaiden5) and can only display petrol stations and parking poi's? With a proper TT unit I just copy the poi's ov2 & bmp files to the map folder and they're visible on route. What am I doing wrong? I realise TT has its own set of traffic cameras (installed ok), but they're not as detailed as others available..... My question is can I load personal poi's and see the icon on a designated route? If so, where would I copy the ov2 & bmp files too?

Installed on a Samsung S4 & Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

FYI, you should be using Igo for your Android phone instead of TT. TT only good for basic nav on Android. TT is Linux.

Hi chas521. Thanks for your quick reply. TomTom GO (Android) can be downloaded from the Play store. It works very well on my Android Samsung. But my question was "Can I display personal POI's on a planned route"

1.1 Install from google play apk "TomTom MyDrive"

1.2 Open the PC account for "route planner"

2. Set the desired points in the route planner
3.connect the account opened from the route planner to TomTom apk from your phone,
from the apk settings.
Everything you set up in the route planner will be transferred to the map installed on your phone (poi or routes)
