Danny, what do you mean by "advanced mode" ?

Maybe your answer to your question is these lines that should be in sys.txt (at least Primo for Windows):

[Interface]
show_exit = 1
extra_settings = 1; extra settings menu to appear

How? Thanks to Bazzle:

Use an Android explorer program and go to the igo directory. In there you will find the sys.txt.
Modify and save.
You may have to reinstall the .apk again afterwards.

I have no other idea for the moment and I could be wrong. The more I have no Android device (yet).

I think he means like when you first start iGo 8 for WinCE, it asks if you want "Simple" (correct word?) or "Advanced" (with all options available and more complex map view). The (older) iGo MyWay for Android...which is based on Amigo..if I remember correctly, may not have such a difference in Modes. Certainly the newer Android Primo version, like Primo for WinCE, does not.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Thanks.

I don't see buttons "Load Route" or "Save Route".
I came across document at [Please Register or Login to download file] .

Quote from the document:

" 2.1 Simple and Advanced modes
The two operating modes of NavNGo iGO 8 mainly differ in the menu structure and the number of available features. The controls and screen layouts are the same.

Simple mode: you have easy access to the most important navigation functions and the basic settings only. The rest of the settings are set to values that are optimal for typical use.

Advanced mode: you have access to the full functionality of NavNGo iGO 8."

That manual is for Windows CE iGO, not Android iGO. I don't know if Android has the possibility.

I see. Thanks.
Guess Only IGO Primo has The functionality to manage routes.

Not really. I used the Android MyWay (before Primo became available), and certainly saved and loaded routes. But as I recall the process was a bit convoluted and non-intuitive. I wish I could remember the steps for you, but I can't. That version of iGo (as said, based on Amigo) is unlike others...not like iGO 8, and not like Primo. And not as 'good' as either.
If your device can run Primo Android, I would strongly suggest that you switch...operation will be far better and standard..it matches Primo for WinCE just about exactly.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.
