Thank you for these good links, Australia downloaded and tested on Samsung Ace, all ok.
If i wanted to update the map to latest Version 900, is it simply a matter of replacing the Australia map folder???

I was one of the lucky ones to be able to download the Western Europe map and App for Version 1.0 at the very beginning when it appeared. Yes it worked great on my Dell Streak until Google Play updated the phone via wifi and obviously made the App useless. Is there any way of getting a download of the App which will work when Wifi is off and Google Play not crashing it. Yes it would all be on the SD card in future. Be great if this can be done without downloading the map again.
