For old users you say delete the previous version. Do you mean delete or uninstall?

uninstall= delete it is similar to

oppure con questa versione è già tutto attivato e non importa attivare traffic e autovelox .

Hi vladcepesh, I am using TomTom 1.4 dFox apk with latest map + voice alerts + speedcams, I uninstalled it and installed this as per your instructions. I installed the original from google play, downloaded the map, uninstalled it and then installed this apk, it asked me to download the map again so I did, all went well but the app stops at the loading screen with the spinning loading icon and thats it. It never past that screen and I had to uninstall this apk and revert back to my old 1.4 apk. Let me know what am I doing wrong.

I have never written to do.
map download after the install patched version

No need for any fuzz, root or whatever!
1. Install the version from the playstore.
2. Start it.
3. End it - do not set anything up, do not download anything! Just start, wait until the sync with the TT servers id done, end it!
4. From the app manager unistall the TT app, cache, data, uninstall.
5. Install the patched apk.
6. Start it, download the map of your choice.
7 Enjoy.

With some trail and error and more googling , I figured out the issue with the SDcard and internal memory conflicts, so I removed the SDcard and followed the instructions and Bammm the app is working.
This drives me to the next question, how do I move the contents to the SDcard as I have already tried moving using app settings "move to sdcard" and it failed miserably .

Any instructions on how to move the installed maps to the SDcard please

android 4.4.x, 5.x.x does not allow to write of a third application to an external card

what do you mean by sdfix, mine is Galaxy S4, Android Lollipop 5.0.2 with CyanogenMod 12.1 and of course rooted.
