Apologies it took so long, but for some reason I don't know, I didn't keep a copy of the latest version, so I had to recompile it from the source code.

Hi,
Currently I use com.tomtom.iberia/files/Iberia_930_5563 and I would like to add Scandinavia_930_5563 to TomTom.
I activated Scandinavia_930_5563 with Fast activate – Nordic and result was Ok just like I did with Iberia map.
Copied Scandinavia_930_5563 to the same folder where Iberia_930_5563 map was, and run Map changer 1.5.
After, I started TomTom and I saw Iberia or Scandinavia as option. But when I started Scandinavia, something is wrong because TomTom says “You cannot use this map on this device Scandinavia-910”.
The map I use and it is activated is Iberia-910
Can you help me?
thks

When it says "You cannot use this map on this device..." it means you didn't activate it properly.

Fatboyfun appears to have retired.

The easiest solution is to delete the "currentmap.dat" file when you want to change maps.

If you think you need it I think I have copy you could have.

I prefer the "Universal app" which has a built in map changer and a semi automatic activator.

Found this link for the one I use :-

This board requires you to be registered and logged-in to view hidden content.

Thanks to BrownDog.

A couple of other reasons I prefer the Universal app :-

Favorites are stored outside the protected area so rooting is not required for access.
POI's can be stored in the same folder so if you have multiple maps you only need one set of POI's.

Europe.
As the app has a built in activator you don't need FastActivate, you should find it easier to paste the meta code into a file called "meta.txt" which needs to be in the same "files" folder as your map folder.

If you are not using "Europe" base files you need to make a couple of tweaks :-
1. Rename the "com.tomtom.XXXXX" folder to "com.tomtom.europe".
2. In the your ".metadatata.xml" file edit two entries from "com.tomtom.XXXX" to "com.tomtom.europe".
