You cannot (at least at this time) just 'add' maps. If the regions described do not contain your area then TomTom Android is not for you right now.

However, I did not use 'airplane mode'...I just pull down the status bar and toggle both WiFi and Data off.
Maybe airplane mode disables more than you think? Or maybe you had a previous version that got nailed with a license check?
I only know it works for me.

EDIT: Additional information.
If the path to the data on your device is anything other than:
//mnt/sdcard/tomtom/com.tomtom.*
it will not work as it is.

My device have only external_sd path. How can I solve.
Thanks

Not really then. Unless your particular device has a storage called 'sdcard' (sometimes this may be the internal storage of the phone itself) that is big enough to hold the data, it just may not work for you. Some phones/devices seem not to follow what some software developers consider 'standard' naming conventions for storage...and yours may be one of them.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

I don't want to add and clutter to this post...but I clicked the thanks button, but still see no links..is there something else I'm supposed to do? I Regged a few minutes ago..could that be it? Do I have to wait longer to be recognized? :crazy:

Question: What if my android device has no external SD Card? I can't use this?

P.S Nevermind I am able to see the link now

This is my situation. I have a kindle fire which I rooted and I have installed the new 4.1.2 Jelly bean on it. Full android system, I would love to put this on it But there is no external SD card, It's all internal. Does that mean I won't be able to use this TomTom?
