Primo Android 9.6.7

Postby MrCabana » Thu Mar 14, 2013 8:24 am

Hello, I have a few questions ....

1) will this app's data remain in the external SD card or will it be copied/moved to the internal SD ?
2) can i install this app without uninstalling iGO8 (by renaming the install folder to Primo or PrimoNew) or is it mandatory to name it iGO?
3) i have already backed up the previous content of iGO folder from my internal SD, so in case things go wrong and i want to go back to the previous install, will i just have to restore that folder and reinstall the apk in it?

Sorry if my questions are too dumb, i'm new to Android AND GPS.

Thanks in advance.

Everything will be copied to the data folder, you must be rooted to access this yourself.

You can't have iGO and primo installed together, backup and uninstall iGO before installing primo

Yes

I've been using this program without any issues on Samsung Galaxy S (GT-I9000) with latest stock firmware 2.3.6. Recently I've updated to custom firmware 4.2.2, now I've noticed that voice navigation does not work any more. To clarify things, I've installed the program on 4.2.2, rooted with Semaphore kernel, exactly the same way as I did on 2.3.6, I'm using gjak skin, and the program is installed on external micro sd card. Voice navigation never started to work with this firmware, when in settings>sound and warnings>voice language> I select any (no matter which) language and hit BACK it spokes for a second or less and that's it... no more talking. It does not have enough time to complete the whole sentence... like it does in Primo on Win CE.

If someone has experienced and solved the same issue, please share the solution.

Usually a Smartphone.
Other resolutions are not supported at this time.

Ok I have installed the primo iGO apk, I started the application run the basic configuration everything was perfect, but when I enable the GPS function application crashes. I have Android version 4.1.2 J. B. on LG L7II non rooted.
Any suggestion how to fix the problem.

This is one of the first versions of Android iGO Primo, it wasn't very JB friendly.

Sounds also dumb maybe, but a password should be typed - not copied/pasted - and without errors.
