So... in sdcard\iGo

content\lang\Lang_English-us.zip
content\Car.zip
content\map\Basemap.fbl
content\voice\Voice_Eng-us-m1-lua.zip

Didn't change anything with global_cfg and scheme. all other folders are empty.

Tried you fix, uninstall-reinstall, deleted save folder, reboot, but still nothing.

Start Primo-> Language selection (English) -> Log Collection (Yes) -> Configuration Wizard and then can't choose Next. Primo crashes.

Car folder can be emptied too..though that probably does not matter.
<all the following are just guesses at what to try>
1) Make sure your WiFi and GPS are both set to <ON> before running Primo
2) Deny the Log Collection (you don't really want that anyway..it's nobody's business but yours how you operate the software, where you go and for how long or how many speedcams you see)
3) Make sure nothing Heavy Duty is running in the background...you may need as much memory available as possible during initial setup...much less later.

Other than that, I really don't know...some particular devices may have issues that nobody else does. There does not seem to be a clear pattern except for the Exit After Language situation.
We have fully tested every possible feature and option on only 2 1/2 devices (the 1/2 was a low resolution device used only for testing the install--the program will probably never run on it), and have not seen some of the difficulties some are reporting.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Fatboyfun wrote:Over loading a new installation of igo primo with content sometimes leads to errors on first run, we recommend just using one map with no other content until you've had one successful startup and shutdown, also there was "reserve memory" sys.txt entries for wince devices to help with memory problems, they may help here as well.

Please consider that this is new software and there may be certain hardware configurations that are needed to run properly, we don't know yet...

Hi,

After try and error I have found problem come from license "not support". Before start I put many license from igo PND then out of memory error happen.
Remove license that originally from PND device and only left license from mobile device ; android and iphone primo----> working now!

At least we know non supported license make Out of memory error.

Thanks guys.

Glad you got it working!
And thanks for the information...it could help others.
And yes, in my testing, I have found that particular APKs can be very sensitive to what may be in the License folder...be very careful if trying to mix these for any reason. Best to start with only what is originally included...then try other *.lyc files if necessary.

The license files I have included in the original download have (so far) been 100% effective with (Western) Europe maps, etc...what may happen in other regions is unknown at this point.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Sure.
I live in Southeast Asia (SEA) region, this version working with Community Maps (MFM and Navigasi.net). But you need to add igo license for community maps (get it from iPhone SEA version).

Thanks!

I just discovered that not only can you "pinch to zoom", but you can also rotate the map with two fingers, just like in google maps.

Nice!

Actually the magic word was Wifi ON for setup. But after initial setup and exit Primo freezes. I added my country map file and with GPS on I get initial screen pointing in correct location, but I can't press any buttons. After some time (10-20 sec) app crashes.

If I got this right, it's a Google Nexus, however with a cracked ROM (flashed to newest Android 4.04 (Jellybean?) - see post #15).
When I am right, one can only buy latest Nexus 7 now new with Android 4.01 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Of course earlier Nexus have older Android.
In my opinion there lies the problem.

HTC HD2 is a windows mobile device hacked to run Android, igo tends to use the hardware directly, so it's probably related to that somehow

yes it is so, but i have seen many youtube videos where there is Primo on HD2. So it should be possible. Isn't there any possibility to look some crash.txt file or some error log in my device? Primo crashes and for software developer view there should be some log for that.
