Different options, *some* different look.
The main issue, at least for me (and for you), is that Gjak does not support my beloved speed camera alerts in Hebrew. This language is not on the list you can choose from.

The audio speedcam alerts works (for us, in Hebrew) only with a skin. Speakers of other languages can enjoy it using TTS.

Will the skin work with a device resolution of 1024 x 600?

You will never know unless you try it. I've tested it only with 1080X1920.

I tried it and got it working fine on my Samsung Galaxy S3 tablet at 1024 x 600. My only problem now is the TTS voices. I have already tried it with the built-in Samsung and Google TTS, as well as Loquendo which I installed. The TTS voices work fine on the tablet, but are not selectable in Primo. If the info.ini file in the voice zip is edited to say tts_engine="android" then the igo app only loads for about 25% and then the tablet goes back to its home screen.

I'm not knowledgeable on the subject of TTS, but did you use [Please Register or Login to download file] to edit the voice file?

I had used Winzip 16.0 Pro 64-bit, but I have just finished trying it with Winrar v4.20 64-bit, with the same negative results. iGO Primo gets invoked, the splash screen comes up, and the progress bar goes to about 20%, stays there for a while, then the Samsung home screen shows up. To get back to normal, I just remove the voice and language file from the content directory, and restore the original sys.txt. That way it works, but TTS voices are not selectable.

If you have the chance to use the version I recommended, give it a try...

I am using iGO primo 9.6.29.383117, Apr 3 2014 from navitotal with iGO_Isr_Free_9.6.29.383117_crk_sys_changed.apk. I believe that is what you recommended. If not, point me to the correct one, and I'll give it a go. Or are you referring to the version of Winrar? If it is Winrar, I don't think it will make a difference, since generally, newer versions still retain the functionality of previous versions.

When I wrote "the version I recommended", I was writing about the winrar version, not the Primo version :)

Finally got around to finding Winrar 4.01, installing it, and using it to modify the info.ini file. The results are different than using the file modified with either Winrar 4.2 or Winzip 16. The TTS voice still does not show up in Primo, but at least Primo runs. So, there is definitely a difference in the final zip file depending on what is used to modify the original zip file. I think that I will wait for someone to eventually post a TTS voice file that works with the Samsung Galaxy S3 7" tablet.

Why did you had to get around to find Winrar 4.01? I gave a download link on post #21. :bs_quesexclaim:

Many Many TNX filesupload100 :023:
Immediately works. And works like a charm :041:

However I've few questions:
The main language display and voice I’m using is French.
The maps in use are: France_83_TomTom_2013.06_131017 and Israel GM 2014.03 [140305]

1) Although I’ve Primo display in French I have not a French keyboard. Have you the correct French file to get the keyboard?
2) When I’m using Israel map, the streets name on the map are Latin (English/French) How can I get the streets name in Hebrew, this option worked in iGO8 v8.3.5.183522 with the bellow Lang French file

[Please Register or Login to download file]

Regards

You're welcome.

AFAIK the keyboard in Primo is not controlled from the Lang file. It is located in the data.zip file, under ui_undroid/common/keyboard.ini. MAKE A BACKUP before you do something with this file (data.zip).
I did some tests about it, but with no luck...

Street name in Hebrew? only when I use the Hebrew interface (lang). When I use the English, the street names are in English as well. I'll check later the file you post, in iGO.

Anybody have experience with the keyboard issue?
