Same problem... SOLVED: delete iGo folder from internal SD if you want to use from external SD... then restart and works... hopefully... :)

Orientation problem

Thu Mar 28, 2013 1:49 pm

Hi All,

I've noticed another problem: if change orientation from landscape to portrait or vice-verse bottom of the screen will be distorted. Anyone else noticed this thing? (Samsung G. S2 ICS 4.0.3. stock)

Thu Mar 28, 2013 8:49 pm

in the original i have raster maps of israel. the place is in one of the files that is not needed any more.
where should i put it now?

Hi!
Thanks for the idea, but I don't have another iGO installed anywhere, so this solution won't work for me... Still I receive the error "global_cfg not found" on the first screen.
I am trying to make this work on SGS III mini, 4.1.1 Android version.

By adding this entry to Primo sys.txt, you should be able to use the other navigation programs on the same SD card without having to change names.

Add to sys.txt
[folders]
has_secondary_root=0

Also, I strongly recommend that each program use its own content. Sharing content might create that error message. Also, make sure that the global_cfg file is NOT unzipped.

Hi!
it's creating iGo folder on the internal SD when you try to start it for the first time... check it with any file browser and if you find iGo folder on internal SD just simply delete it and next time it starts without error. (of course if you have the necessary iGo folder on external SD...)

Hey! Thanks a lot! This actually works:)
Now I can go navigate myself:)

Due to the short lifetime of IGO links and the fact that I want to test it, I created a mirror.
Download the attached file and use the link inside to get to the download.
Check my signature!!
The archive is double packed with Winrar in the hope to keep the link alive for some time - but I can't make any promises!

Please help why this always in portrait mode, it can't change to landscape mode.
Thx in adv.

You must do something wrong as by default it starts in landscape mode on my device.
Are you sure you did not modify the sys.txt?
