Nope I made sure I kill all program first as it happened the first time I used it. I've used it on 3 different occasions. The last exited 2 times before I reach the destination and it was a short journey about 20mins. If it did not exit for u perhaps you could post ur rom. Stock or custom? Ginger or ics? Tks...

I do Road Search, it does mention that a match is found ,,, but nothing is displayed. Other functions like POI search, POI Nearby and coordinates search is okay. Please advise ..thx

same as X5, after you enter the road name at "keyword" text box, after click 'ok', you have to click 'Search' on bottom panel again. hope this useful for you.

First, android doesn't need kill the app, the more u kill the more unstable you'll face... Please research more info about android that doesn't need to kill...

Android is best in memory management, it will auto end the app when its no use and so on... Its not like windows that need to kill task to free more memory!

Used it for 2 days already but I had this big prob this few days...it all works fine when I'm in normal Navi mode (no destination set aka free roam) but once I got the location & set it as destination then my current location will be scramble to no where when I was in KL then it will show that I'm in some wood area in segambut :dash3:

Any idea guys?

In my personal opinion, there are contraints and limitation to what one can write the codes, be it Android or iOS, to run on tiny condensed GPS chipset and tiny crowded chipset configuration of the motherboard in the handset. Hence, the bugs and in imperfection of GPS on handphone sets.

I've been playing around for a few years with PND. My advice is if one has to use the GPS as a tool to earn a living, go for the full featured PND.

yes.. u need

1. Download the patch
2. Boot into CWR (Clockwork Recovery)
3. Mount /system/ partition (on the main menu, select the "Mounts and storage" option, then "mount /system")
4. Flash the patch (on the main menu, select "Install zip from sdcard," then "choose zip from sdcard," and find the zip and select it)
5. Reboot the device

I know that, I've said it before that it exited before I kill stuff then I kill app and it had exited too.

Today I've tested after reboot. From KL to PJ Menara Axis, exited 3 times. Most of the time is during recalculating for the route...

R u using gingerbread or ICS? what's ur phone model? S2 if so is it the G version because I'm one of the 1st batched...(non G :P )

Oh Well, I've 2 SGS2 - 2.3.3 & 2.3.6 both stock & 1 SGS - 2.3.3 all of them used X5 and were having force closes issues so when this came out I was very excited but it turn out to be the same for Samsung... sigh... so I'm not sure whether it's the phone or the program. Since you say HTC is working perfectly I guess it must have been Sammy.

Anyway what was your experience in X5? any FCs?....

Thanks. :)
