IGo on Nexus4

IGo on Nexus4

Postby stair » Sun Mar 17, 2013 1:37 pm

I have got IGo to work on my Nexus 4 using a 960x540 installer, this of course only fills 3/4 of the screen. I have tried setting the resolution as described in the Nexus 7 thread but everything that I try just crashes IGo

Any suggestions to succesfully get the display to fill the screen, thanks

You need a 1280x800 version to fill the screen on your Nexus 4. I have it running perfectly on mine. You may also wish to add this to your sys.txt to get proper screen sizing for the Nexus 4:

[rawdisplay]
driver=engine
screen_xy="1280_800:1196x722/768x1138"

That will leave the notifications bar visible at the top of the screen. If you want igo to take up the full screen add:

[rawdisplay]
driver=engine
screen_xy="1280_800:1280x800/800x1280:fullscreen"

Igo works nicely on a nexus 7. You'll need to put these in your sys.txt and find a data.zip that supports 1280x800

[rawdisplay]
driver=engine
;screen_xy="800_480:800x1205/1280x736:fullscreen"
screen_xy="800_480:800x1170/1280x700"

There are no links for specific devices, you have to edit the sys.txt yourself and also make sure you got a data.zip and branding.zip with the correct resolution.

I read the answer above but I dont know where I can find 12800x800 version?
Also reagrding sys.txt I have to add the text below or replace the existing text with it.
[rawdisplay]
driver=engine
;screen_xy="800_480:800x1205/1280x736:fullscreen"
screen_xy="800_480:800x1170/1280x700"

I uploaded a backup of my working version including the data.zip with the correct resolution.
Simply look for it ;)
Should be in the Nexus7 thread.

Hello!
I have a question. This is what my sys.txt looks like, but I still can't get the right resolution on my nexus 4:

Do you have any idea what should I do to make it looks right?
