Thank you very much for fixing the problem. You have done good job.
The only problem is that the icons of POIs not appear on the map. The names of them appear on the search menu. The settings are correct to appear the POIs. Something is missing.
Because is so important to have the POIs on the map please find a solution for this.
Thank you again
Does folder "Pic" appears in your "com.alk.copilot.mapviewer" folder?
I forget to upload it- sorry.
Check post to download it

Now the map is excellent.
Something else that I cannot understand is on the adress search function. In the Aygorou Village for example the adresses are existing but the search function cannot find them.
Check this. Maybe is general problem of the application.
If you have the same problem please inform us.

Its a map problem. The same problem on street pilot with geomatic map.
Solution: on search bar write 5510 αυγορου - everything seems to work ok.

A good option is sygic mobile maps 8.24 (old but search is working very good and also good, little outdated from 2011 but still good).
Also using new sygic is a good choice but it has low coverage as it use new tom tom maps. Also navitel use the same maps.
Street pilot use the same maps as copilot but search is poor and not recommended. Map is very good just app is poor.
Igo use old map from epsilon 2011. Not found newer.
Google maps has the best maps so far but cannot use offline as the other apps.

It works perfectly.
I have 2 questions: 1. Can I use europe maps on this? 2. Can I update the cyprus maps?
Thank you

1.You cant use cyprus and europe maps at the same time, you have to delete Cyprus maps first.
2. You cant update Cyprus map. when update is available we will try to catch it and post it here.

Is it possible to start only from point 8 which is the latest update and skip the first part which is for the old version?
I'm asking this because I had it working fine and after I updated my android version (without wiping any user data), copilot stopped working and it points me to the point where I have to download maps. I now have to repeat the whole process so I'd like to knw if I could skip the first part.

You install the older copilot just to create an account with full access to all europe maps.

Ok I haven't found a solution for this yet. Every time I reflash my ROM or reset my phone (I do this quite often), coPilot needs to be reconfigured with the procedure in OP. I believe it has to do with the android id changing. I restore copilot data with Titanium Backup and the folder on storage is intact but still it needs to be reconfigured. The problem is that all my customizations and manual entrys, favorites, etc. are gone. Is there a way to recover those while still allowing the app to operate? If I restore from backup, it will break.
I assume backup to cloud wouldn't be wise.

Everytime you format you have to login again and let it restore purchases. Dont worry its internet safe for now. For me everything works as before format.
