Installed iGO World v9.18.27 to a 1440x2560 screen on an Android 7 phone's internal memory. (link: android-apps/igo-world-736653-2018-t20702.html)
Added male/female us english voice files to iGO/content/voice/voice_eng-us-mX-lua.zip , size 2.5 Mb
Voices working, however without saying street names.
In Settings/Sounds/ , both sectiond of "Say Road Names in Native" and "Say Road Names in Foreign" are greyed out .
The phone has Google TTS installed and it is working.
Any suggestion, how to get TTS for iGO World working ?

tried to install into internal memory and sd card.....iGo version 9.6.29
both case getting errors:
1)iGO/license.zip Permission denied........there is no license.zip file exist
2)user interface resoulution 1440x2296 is not supported
Looks like it is worst than previous 9.18.27

And it works perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy 9.

Is your phone rooted?
Did you installed to internal storage or external sd card? Could you share your sys.txt?

Installed on my phone NOT SD card. NOT rooted. Create a folder on your phone called iGO_Basar and copy/paste the files and folders there. Reduce the screen resolution on your phone in the phone's settings.

EDIT1: You may not have to play with the phone's resolution. Mine is 2960X1440.
EDIT2: Once you do that you need to download and paste another folder but do the above first. Tell me when to proceed.

Download the Vocalizer .rar and copy/paste the file therein to the phone [as is] and the same file to content\voice.

EDIT: Use the make sys .apk to install it to your phone to make an icon.

Results when open iGO Primo:
Missing or incomplete folder:/data/data/com.nng.igoprimoisr2013march24.javaclient/sys.txt (Permission denied)

The program must be installed with ALL previous iGO program files and such completely removed first and restart your phone. This means that mention of iGO must be deleted first from everywhere. Also clean the cache and data from the app setting. Then do the installation.

still not working
did a google search for your old apk file:iGO_9.6.29.596752_dj4b.apk. I am not allowed to post the link, it is originated another GPS forum, has detailed instructions, it was made to work on Android 4.4 KitKat file structure.......just forget about it !
I have successfully installed another version of 9.18.27, Nextgen Israel, everything--including TTS --works perfectly !
