For the Tomtom card, I recovered a Western_Europe_1GB_845_2666 on the site
I started from a blank SD card of 2GB, which I formatted with a camera and especially not with Windows !!!
Once the SD card is formatted, it must be inserted into the TomTom Carminat so that it identifies it and copies some files remove the card and connect it to a computer with TomTom Home, so that it too installs some files
necessary for its use.
I copy the entire directory containing the Western_Europe_1GB_845_2666 card to the root of the SD
card if you go to Windows Explorer once the copy is done, you have the card directory and some files.
Now you have to copy the NavCore on your SD card at the root of it.

Once you have downloaded it you will get this file: navcore_8841.453398.Carminat_Tom.cab
just double click on it to open it and discover an "install" directory and 2 files "ttsystem and splashw.bmp "
you have to extaire everything at the root of the SD
card in Windows Explorer, select the SD card to see its contents: double click on the install directory then DS_1 you then have two files:
IA0000700006swlimage0.zip and IA0000700006swlimage1.zip
you must extract the contents of these 2 files and place the files they contain in the root of the SD
card
there is already a file " ttsystem " at the root of the SD card, we must delete it and rename the file " ~tsystem to ttsystem " now we must patch the file " PNDnavigator " which is at the root of the SD card with the software " yDGpatch "
Recover the DeviceId of your Carminat Tomtom, because we will need it afterwards
We must copy the following directory to the root of the card SD \Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher
it is actually the extraction of the file.rar recover previously
inside this directory there is a file named DeviceId.txt, you have to open it with the notepad and copy the number of your Carminat TomTom (10 characters) and save it, then copy this file to the root of your SD
card In the directory of the map that you are going to recover you will find a file "Meta.txt" you have to copy it to the following
directory \Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher\Progs
Then copy the files with the extension .meta and .pna from the map directory to the following
directory \Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher\insert_m eta_from_Map_here
you have to patch everything now with this program:
\Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher\RunMeforDCT.cmd
you must select option 1 then again 1
it will ask you again the DeviceId of your Carminat Tomtom
once finished a file with a .dct extension will be created, you must place this file in the directory containing the card open on the SD card
the directory "Loopdir" and delete the file "loopback.ex3"
You can then insert your map into your Carminat TomTom and benefit from all Western Europe
Never update the software of your GPS (NavCore) via TomTom Home otherwise it puts everything back to original and your map would be unusable
however we can make MapShare and Quickgps Fix
corrections Information that has their importance with the Carminat TomTom, the new versions have for NavCore 9.844 and to date no way to change the map... there is also an update from the 8.41X to 8.42X, again difficult to find compatible cards!!!
Reset your Carminat Tomtom

It's just a full system reboot.
Reset procedure:Remove the ignition key from the vehicle,open a car door: the GPS screen turns off,remove the SD memory card from its slot,start the car:
the GPS will start and say that the memory card is missing, or will display "Card not found",stop the car, remove the ignition, open a door,
put the SD memory card back in its slot,restart
the car
The reset of the Carminat Tomtom is complete
