TopoActive 2026.10 Europe

Recently Garmin launched the TopoActive 2026.10 update for some devices.
Here is a dump of the content of my Edge 1040 imgs , central and western region.
This board requires you to be registered and logged-in to view hidden content.

In the meantime garmin removed the update due to [Please Register or Login to download file]
Use at your own risk. On my side I still haven't experience issues and I also tried it on my etrex 30.
Some maps may not be useful for your device.

This map should not be used as it has been bricking some Edge devices and has been pulled from the servers.

Opened this map in BaseCamp, but it is not searchable for addresses and POIs.
Don't know if it routable,
Hope someone can post a working version of 2026.10 soon.

...address navigation is not supported with these maps.
Regardless of which maps are 2025.10 & 2026.10.

[Please Register or Login to download file]

These maps do not allow navigation to an address

I think address and POI search is within the Geocode Map (D4728190A).

What Are the Features Included in TopoActive Maps?

Routable roads, trails, and walking paths; international boundaries, waterways, natural features, land use areas, historical sites, airport structures, buildings, and more. TopoActive maps will not supply turn-by-turn routing in automotive routing profiles.

Loaded with thousands of points of interest, including shops, restaurants and bars, car parks, schools and universities, and accommodations.

Contour line information varies based on location and the detailed information that OpenStreetMap has for that area. For example, contour or elevation lines are at roughly 100ft intervals for the North America TopoActive map. Other regions may use a shaded relief map and contain no contour lines.

TopoActive mapping will include any fire trails that are present in OpenStreetMap (https://www.openstreetmap.org). Many fire trails are included, but we cannot speak to their completeness. They will appear as unpaved roads on the map.

While there are many points of interest searchable with the installed TopoActive mapping, there is no address search function.

Tried install this map in a Nuvi, poi and address search is indeed possible.
A route can also calculate, but seems to be only pedestrian mode (highways etc are avoided).
