I updated older versions of the map up to 1150 without any problems, and I made a video myself and explained how to do it and also explained how to restore the clock, but these new maps don't have many files and I don't know how to set it up correctly, so I'm asking if anyone has step-by-step instructions on how to activate them.

Download keygen 4.1D in meta.txt insert the necessary meta from the map you need. Run keygen and activate the map. Navcore is important for the necessary map. Will these two maps work on a TT nav2 device or only on nav3 devices?

They installed and activated, but when I switch to them on the device to do route planning and add POIs on those maps, from a different physical region to where these maps are , I dont see any maps detail. No roads nothing?

Is this because the sats instantly reverts and centres back to my actual position on earth (while the Brazil map is not switched to), while I have a map selected active for another part of the world? A map which is not in the region where I am using the device from.

Eg. I want to add a route on the Benelux map, but I am physically in Brazil. When I switch to the Benelux map on the device. Its blank, it only shows the car. No streets etc. If I switch to the DE_AT_CH map, it momentarily starts in Berlin. Then the map vanishes.

So essentially one can only pre plan routes via Plan Tomtom online these days?

Of course, what did you expect ? It's a GPS device, it's supposed to show your immediate surroundings so, Brazil in your case. You can simulate a trip for a foreign country and see how the device would react in the real situation, that's all

Thought so (was a bit of dumb question I know) - will have to wait till I get in the EU to see if the maps actually work.

Haven't used the TT in years. Got used to using G**gle maps. Which obviously you can view and plan on from anywhere, regardless of actual GPS location.

Now I have to figure out how to use and install .gpx files to my device, created with Plan.TomTom online.
