Universal Firmware Patcher for Protected Garmin Devices

It ain't working, wouldn't it need to be a newer version? I am pasting the archive with the name GUPDATE in the Garmin folder on the device, is it the right way?

The Patched version is 8.62
Extract ,then with your device plugged into your PC you drag-and-drop GUPDATE_Patched_JNX.GCD onto the [Please Register or Login to download file] icon on your desktop.
The Firmware will be flashed on Device
Warning:
Be sure to remove & back up All BirdEye images (JNX files) already present on device before apply the Patch
BirdEye images can be restored after patch is applied.

do I need patched firmware for Garmin Camper 770?
I can see the map in Basecamp, but have an error in unit.

@ranis I moved your post here,check your HWID in the garmindevice.xml and use it to search this thread dealing with Patching.

The Patch was made for your HWID but maybe what others say is correct for these Japan imported devices, that they cannot be converted ,but 4 members said it worked by using the "Thumbs Up" button.

Thanks! My bad! I download patch. Where i ccan get info how update navigator with this sd kit? I can't see in top of topic any information about it. I see info about how to work with gcd files.
