Universal Firmware Patcher for Protected Garmin Devices

Hello, I think it's the same situation as 55 65 76 86 | of the new Garmin devices, at the moment there is no solution.

gajevi52 is correct your DriveSmart 66 has encrypted Firmware .
Firstly no other firmware patched or not will work unless you need a "Brick"
I assume you mean a nüvi 3590 ,the way you find out if a device need patching is to look inside the garmindevice.xml for the HWID

Then search this topic using your HWID
If it is 1258 it does not need patching

Thanks a lot. Giving up on the Drivesmart 66. The Nüvi 3590 worked:
I dl'd City Navigator Europe NTU 2026.20. I didn't know what the "cure" folder was, but it didn't matter. I went into "PC install Unlocked" and ran CityNavigatorEuropeNTU2026.20Update.msi which installed the maps to my PC. From there I was able to use the "MapInstall" app to install the maps onto the the Nuvi and successfully tested. The only trouble I has was that I instructed the install to be on my HDD, but it went onto my SSD anyway. So I'm uninstalling everything from the PC because it takes up too much space.

I am new to the group and have a new Garmin DriveSmart 86 with Europe maps installed. I followed thd guidance here and installed the Middle East maps, but when starting my device it gives the message "Maps are corrupt and cannot be used".
I read in the forum in old posts I may need to patch the device but all linked files are not available and the post is quite old and I do not want to do something wrong with my new device.
Can you please help me with detailed steps and tools to solve my problem as this topic is new to me?
