edit binatone register

Postby Magnu420 » Thu Jan 12, 2012 12:06 am

is it possible to edit the register on a couple of binatone units,to stop the memory defaulting
to a set thing,ie when a unit switched on the memory scale is set about half way,i can move
the slider to the left as far it will go,press ok,but when i reboot the unit it defaults back to the middle

also when you use ceregeditor you can make back up or reflash the back up to the units,
is the back up exactly the same, what i mean is the units is sometimes stuck on booting up
would the back up include this error or not

thanks for looking...

No but you can include a little app in a mortscript that sets it.

I would imagine ceregeditor would back up the whole registry, but restoring it after the device doesn't boot and doesn't connect to the pc would be a problem

Download this -> 3701

Extract and copy all the files into the applications directory on your device, (ie, same directory as iGO.exe)
Open Start.mscr with Notepad on your PC and add this to the bottom...
Run (SystemPath("ScriptPath")\"iGO.exe")
Change iGO.exe if necessary
Set the device to run Start.exe

You can edit the number 512 in the script, It's in KB, 128KB is possible sometimes, If you set it too low it won't work and nothing will happen.
If you need to rename Start.exe then also rename Start.mscr to match.

Is this for SetSystemMemoryDivisionKB.exe? If so set it as low as you can get away with, 64KB, 128KB is possible, but 256KB and 512KB are more likely, This is a safe adjustment.

Just the number without quotes, 32 is a little low, if it can't be moved that low by setsystemmemorydivision.exe then it doesn't move at all, but if it works...

by zervdim, just need to tweek it more (for me),seems to slow in telling me
next manouver,ie about 5 to 10 yards before next turn,(will look at the sys.text stickies)
also what does verbosity mean ive tried them on all three settings and i cant find any
differance with them
