I have Wince6 Chinese PNA .. the problem is when I restart the PNA, I have to do the whole setting again. Also it delete the desktop shortcuts i have created. Also the System Sound gets to the original position after restart.. is there any Setting file which I can make Read only and then i don't have to correct the Setting every time?

Hello. I'm interesed in bluechart software. Is there any way to get software from any GPSMAP 420/420s/520/520s/525/525s/4008/4012/5008/5012 kao i Nuvi 5550 Europe to run bluechart maps on any other device?
I believe that this is possible to make but don't know how to get software from any of these devices.

IMGmod manual

You can use maps on your GPS with Garmin BaseCamp without having them installed on your computer. However, this doesn't work with every map.
With IMGmod you can modify any map so that it will show up in BaseCamp.
Using IMGmod is simple: put IMGmod on your desktop and drag the .img file with the map onto the icon of IMGmod.

When the .img file is read-only obviously this will not work; so ...

how to :

there are 2 folders sdcard and windows in rar

1)locate all contents in sdcard to root of storage card
2)copy all windows folder contents to pda windows folder
3)copy setting.ink from garmin folder to /windows/start menu/programs/navigation (or any location u like)
4) copy and paste shortcut of que.exe in garmin folder to /windows/start menu/programs/navigation (or any location u like)

for landscape view pls put the loader.exe and ini file to garmin folder ...
