Got one of these cheap, it only has major roads on it for some reason!?

It has a removable SD Card (2GB) which I can plug in to my laptop and access all files.

I was wondering how I could update it with the latest European maps? What files to add/replace etc.

Nav Core 9.061 Map Western Euro 905-4799

Been using the above since download earlier in year using my existing Favourites and Post codes with no problems.

Recently tried using POI to find route to an Airport and Postal address to find an address.

Using either it froze just by touching the icon, then restarted to its location map.

Any clues why.

I'd like to update the North America maps(US and Canada) on my Tomtom Go 920 and I have no idea what maps I need and where to get the from.

Obs.
In the ui_becker folder is implemented a back button.
The archive includes:
- pda memory fixed (Windows Mobile)
- china version, only for Chinei map
- reset fixed, only if the device resets itself at startup

After losing all my data(post using TomTom Home) and like a fool not
having done a seperate backup I have had to re format my SD card
and start a new install.
I have put navcor 7.903.9183 on my card then I have now uploaded with
the auto install map 915.5106.

Tomtom starts but then goes onto "no maps found page" and then
back to tomtom with red cross page.

I just run the findmy ...

How can i find if a map is android compatible, without obviously installing it?
Do the columns for wince/winme on the compat matrix are also applicable to android?

I just bought Start 25 from eBay. When I connected it to my laptop and tried to update via myTomTom, it failed.

I called customer services here in the UK who refused to activate it for me as eBay is not one of ther retailers!

Aftet downloading tomtom europe 1.3 apk for android, I need to find tomtom sd contents (no map). Are tomtom sd contents all the same for each different regions or region specified? Where can I find one?
