Hi, I have tried about 4 different Navocred but unabl to launch navocre. It freezes on the startup. I've tried the rider version also.

I have formatted the intrnal disk, ran the clear flash and also a reset of the power button.


Any ideas please?

We all love our tools but when it comes to backups and so on we often realise after a crash that some of the favourite tools had no backup.

I have been messing with my old Go 700 for a few months now and have varied success. Currently it is running Navcore 9.430 with the newest 915 maps, no system lag or reboots. I tried to update to 9.510 but it kept rebooting after 3 minutes ...

i have so far managed to update the map & speed cameras, just wondered if it was worth updating the Navicore also?

There was a custom Rider3 navcore which supported MP3 playback (http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?5503-Rider3-app-on-non_Rider-and-old-Rider-devices&highlight=rider3) courtesy of bmwdriver. The link to download it however is dead. Does anyone have a copy of this or similar navcore they can upload?

I've got a TomTom GO Classic with SD card slot.
At the moment the navcore is 8.544 and the boot is 5.5229
I've got only 32 Mb of RAM and only 1.8 Mb are FREE
My TomTom only accepts SD cards up to 2GB.

I was wondering if I could flash a newer navcore and bootloader in order to:
1) be able to insert 4GB SDHC cards;
2) upload maps with IQ ...

One of my mates was playing with his TT GO 710 (after I told him about the help I had here to upgrade my TT) and he attempted to install NV 9.510 (64MB) on it. The TT tried to restart and got stuck on start up, then simply hung. I managed to get it to turn off, but now it refuses to even switch back on, I'm now removing the battery to see ...

To makes things a bit easier I created an installer that includes the following Navcore versions:
9.500 - The Rider Navcore with the new Rider5 skin.
9.510 - The current NC for all current TT models.
9.701 - The current Truck NC.
Although the download is a bit bigger than usual for a Navcore, the installer allows you to have all current Navcores at hand for easy installation and testing.

I have a 1GB Tom Tom XL 30 running 8.014 but I need to upgrade the navcore so I can upgrade my maps. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
