Hi all its all new to me, can I install the latest maps and speed cams to a SD card and then just insert it into the sat nav, reason I ask is its not mine so I don't want to update the sat nav incase anything goes wrong, so I was wondering if I can install all the latest on a card so it boots from the card when I use it

Hello all,

I'm having issues trying to install Navcore for my TomTom GO 500.

Whenever I install it, I reset the device and boot up and it hangs at the loading bar. Am I doing something wrong?

I have tried Navcore 9.540.2 Installer and the Universal Navcore Installer 9.510 for GO models (64mb ram).

Any help is appreciated!

I've managed to update my 510/710 with the 965.7250 uk roi maps.... but a mate of mine is off to the states and wants to lend my unit, so I was wondering what would be the best US maps to get... (I'm looking at which would be the quickest to download) but would still cover him in the florida region (orlando and disney).

Currently have this Tomtom Navigation built in to my car.

It has the following:

Navcore - 9.891
Maps - Western Europe 915.5074

All works.

Then

I've tried adding new maps, the following:
Western Europe - 965.7250
Western Europe - 966.7372

Using FastActivate Activated the new maps. Had to create a new ttgo.bif as this unit doesn't create one to do this activation.

I recently installed latest Truck map on Go720, Just realised that my computer voice that reads out street names, directions etc does not work, tried reloaded onto map sd card but still nothing. Real voice works ok for directions but doesnt do street names and warnings

I have a TomTom go 550 Live. With 1gb internal memory and what to add an additional map. Specificaly truck maps and navcore.

I have now got to the point were if I install navcore directly to sd with maps tomtom can't see the navcore and wont boot.
