I have never posted here before, I went to update my Tom Tom XL and somwhere TomTom home deleted my maps and made it so I can not load the old one anymore says "Item was not valid after Installation: North_America_P" I know it is very old for a GPS it worked just fine until I tried to update it. How can I get the map back on it, it ...

Anyone still getting changes done via this method? All my recant ones over teh past 6-8 months, depite me having emails back saying they were made infact arnt showing up and all still say pending in mapshare.

Bought a tomtom go navigator 2nd generation 6 inch.
it comes with map updates via wifi.
Has got 1 year live traffic.
1 year camera updates.
After this can i update the cameras with the TTactivator.

i have also got a tomtom start 20 with free map updates for life.

Sorry this has possible been covered a million times but I am struggling a little.
I have a Carminat tomtom map version Europe V1105.11755 the clock has gone AWOL, so I down loaded a new navcore to get PNDnavigaitor Navcore is 8843, I have PND navigator, I have fastactivate.
I have a clock now BUT no map, it tell me I can't use this map 103649 on this device.
put the old card back ...

hi i have just found my old tomtom start 20 with serial number starting in AY, i have read that it gets lifetime map updates.
my current old map version is western Europe v945.6173 date 2/2015
can some one help me to update the maps.

I need help updating the map on my Renault Carminat TomTom NON-LIVE navigation system.

My device details:
- Device: Carminat TomTom NON-LIVE (nav2 / beaumont)
- App version: NFA2.6-RC14 (9.847.1302316)
- DeviceUniqueID: AK8HEAAJ9E
- Current map: Italia (map ID 114, .dat/.meta/.pna format, dated 2009)

I need a map for Eastern Europe or at least Bulgaria in the same format (.dat/.meta/.pna files).

TTActivator v1.20 does not recognize my SD card - it seems the card ...

Canada_Alaska 1170_13182
UK_ROI 1170_13181
Both have Meta codes.

Ran Fastactivate, Option (1), then Option (2) Shows both maps (Error)

Then created a text file with both map details and codes etc as listed on the Meta Code listing. Saved in the root file. Fastactivate shows the error again.

Added the text file to each map root file and still an error.

Where am I going wrong. Help please

Im currently browsing used TomTom devices. I was wondering which you recommend that has relatively decent specs and easy to upgrade maps on for the next couple of years.

It's for everyday usage on my fiat punto, so i'm excluding camper motorbikes and other large vehicles.

Hello i have TomTom Start 60. Its possible to add there maps for trucks? I tried to search here but only what i found some older posts . Can u tell me if this is possible and how to do that? Thanks for help
