I have been given a sat nav to have a look at, the battery won't hold it's charge, there is no model number on it, took it apart and have seen that the battery is a 361-000198-16 so after a bit of Google and stuff it would seem that it's a NUVI 1390T

So thinking of getting a new battery for it and then from there I was wondering, can the map be ...

I am looking for the right "ASR / srd" files for British English to go with City Navigator Europe NT(Unicode) 2014.30. I can see from the forum that other people are in the same situation. If it is true that you need the right ASR or SRX files to go with each new map, why are they never included? Are there different variations of ASR or SRX files for each model of Garmin Nuvi ?? ...

Hello everybody,

When I turn on my Garmin nuvi 1300, it gets bricked, showing just the logo "Garmin". Nothing more happens.
Could anyone help me solving this?

Today I install the Garmin StreetPilot software on my iphone 4, but i want to use it on my car.
In this moment I allready have the needed cables, whats really missing is the built in app "garmin vehicle display integration"
In garmin's website this app cost's 49.90$. That's right, 49.90$ for an addon that doesn't do much.... :086:

Hi guys,

there`s Garmin CTP13 in-dash mounted navigation on my Fiat Freemont (Dodge Journey).
There is no way to connect it to a PC as you connect Nuvi , so you can not download any missing files from the web, replace corrupted one or basically just make a secure copy of original data.

However there is a light in the tunnel:
You are able to enter the secret menu, which has a lot of hidden ...

I have a Nuvi 610 which I would like to update UK map and add Europe (France & Belgium) and haven't a clue where to start as not particularly tech savy

can anyone help or point me to an existing thread with the info I'd need

My Garmin nuvi 2250 is about 2 years old and is very slow on selecting cityies or streets while I'm searching adress. When I enter city name and select the citiy i need to wait about 10 seconds to open street search form and after entering street the same problem again. I cleared all searching history and trip log but the problem is still here. Any help please!?
