I have a Garmin nuvi 1410 and it is not recognized by the PC, "the USB device is not recognized".

I wanted to make a CURE with the GarminCure kunix software but it was impossible for the PC to recognize it again.

Then I decided to update the firmware through an SD card, the GPS had version 5.80 and I decided to take it to 6.10:

If your map uses post codes (UK, Netherlands or Singapore), you should have a folder in the root of your device called 'zip' which will contain the post code files. You can create the folder yourself if it is missing.

Download the relevant files for either or all of those 3 maps from the links below, extract the archive(s) into the zip folder overwriting the old ones if necessary.

i have a problem with igo primo 2.4 isreal avarage speedcam voice alert.
the alert comes few meter after the avarage speedcam. i looked in igo to see if a can change the avarage camera warning distance but there is no such option.
please if anyone can help below is my text file.

I always seem to struggle when trying to update the speed cam file, (I'm sure i posted about this but can't find my old thread)

So yeah the new download the maps working well and I notice there's a *.spc file, I've tried opening this in a text editor and it was unreadable. so after having a little look around the net then ...

I have the old Garmin Nuvi 850 and would like to put 2 maps in (one 70mb and one 180mb) The map that I have in is the Autodrive 5.20 and the location that it can see it is at the main memory in the folder garmin and the name of the map is gmapsupp.

I tested the map Europe_Central_1GB_1000_8645 because I need a map:

• with those countries "France + Germany + Luxemburg/Luxembourg + Switzerland"
• with a size under 949 MB (because it must fit into my my TomTom XL 330 (TomTom 30 Series) (Serial number begins with RM)

The activation worked well but I can not use it because France is not covered in this map.

On the other hand, it is strange that France is not present ...
