Help for a Newbee

Dear all,
I bought a used Garmin Camper LM760 HWID = B1730 in Europe (The Netherlands)
I did this because we will be traveling through West Canada soon.
I downloaded it all but there are a lot of files in there
Is there a tutorial how to install it all om my Garmin. I searched through the board, but could not find anything usefull.

On a FAT 32 formatted SD card 32Gb or less create the folders and sub folders and place the files you have downloaded in their respective folders.
Rename the 2 .img files as per picture below.
I've added the POI folder as if you are on a RV/Camper van trip these can be very helpful.

Yes you can test before you leave by using simulation mode.
Just have a play around ,simulation mode is also helpful to save places you know or want to visiting.

Hey guys.
I have an old Garmin Nuvi 40 laying around and would like to update the North America maps.
How can I do that? I see people in the forum sharing new maps. How do you put them on the device? You need to unlock/jailbreak it?
I just download the map and put it on the SD card, and thats it?
Do I need to delete the map from the internal storage?

The nuvi 40 does not need to be Patched to use the Unlocked maps shared in the New Maps section.
You will need a FAT 32 Formatted SD card 8Gb > 32Gb as the internal storage won't be enough.
Download and unpack :
All Canada & Mexico
gmapprom (All US)
On the SD card create a folder called Map place the the 2 .img files in the Map folder ,change the name of gmapprom.img to gmapsupp.img.
If you want you can delete the older .img from the .system folder gmapprom.img ONLY this file.
Canada & Border States Under 2Gb

'm new here. I have an old Garmin Nuvi 765T, I just updated the map to City Navigator North America 2027.10
I will be travelling to Canada and was looking to see if I can still use it. Does this map version include Canada? I tried entering a Canadian address but I could not find an option to change the country to Canada or even Mexico. Do I not have the right map? Or do I have to wait till I'm Canada to be able to change the country.
Hope someone can help me. Thank you!

Welcome to the forum.
It's not clear if you updated your map City Navigator North America which include Canada and Mexico using Garmin express or downloading maps from here?
Your device should display separately the US and Canada & Mexico

Thank you! I downloaded the maps from Garmin express directly to my NUVI 765T device. On Garmin express under map options it shows MAP: City Navigator North America 2027.10. The map was saved in the 32GB SD drive.
Do I need to change my maps to All US, Canada and Mexico maps instead? Where do I get it and how to install please?
