I did put the unzipped skin into the correct directory.
No I can't get into the program AT ALL, that's why I can't select the skin.

I'm downloading something that might help and then I have to upload it again so check back later.

I would also suggest that you delete your "save" folder. A new one will be created when you start the program for the first time.

I did delete the save folder first.

I managed to get it working (thanks for your help) but the voices are a bit choppy. They're not as natural sounding as the voices in 1.2
Still deciding which version to stick with.

I did not go for a drive with 1.1 only simulation.
