Can someone please tell me if there is a way of transferring recent destinations when updating maps ?
Which file is it that contains this information and can it be copied and pasted or is it more complicated than that ?

I don't remember finding an answer to this but when I update my map I just overwrite the old map contents with the new, all settings are retained. (Deleting 3 files first *.meta, *.meta.dct, *.pna.

Try mantain same mapinfo.dat .
